SCREEN TIME

A performance with a Smartphone

What kind of universe do we actually carry around with us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? The smartphone. A handy object that draws our full attention with push notifications, ringtones and the worldwideweb. How many hours, days and months do we spend swiping our fingers across the square screen? And what happens when we ask the following question: What does our screen time really reveal about us?

HELLA LUX uses the time we spend in dialogue with our cell phone and the world that lies behind the screen and brings it to the stage in their latest performance SCREEN TIME. Voila! The first performance that rethinks doomscrolling into a community event. The first show in which your cell phone can perhaps stay on loud.

HELLA LUX notes: This performance is available for touring. Please contact us for more information.
