Digital Living Room
A digital educational format for young people aged 12 to 18 years
In ten digital sessions, HELLA LUX invites young people aged 12 to 18 to explore virtual space through artistic means. Together, they try things out, share, discuss, and experiment – with the goal of claiming digital spaces as a playground for creativity.
Guided by artists from the HELLA LUX collective, new impulses emerge: mini-performances, meme ideas, audio experiments, or movement sessions – all inspired by the tools, trends, and codes of the internet.
HELLA LUX notes: As part of the DIGITALES WOHNZIMMER and the HOW SWEET TO BE A CLOUD project weeks, HELLA LUX developed the methodological card set NEW SPACE, featuring over 30 creative methods for digital collaboration with age-diverse participants. The set is available for purchase on this website.
Ages 12–18 | German and English | Weekly from February to May 2024
Info
Creative space for young perspectives: The “Digital Living Room” was developed as part of HELLA LUX’s educational work and marks the beginning of a format we plan to offer regularly in the future—a safe space for young people that connects artistic work with digital realities.
HELLA LUX is committed to making diverse performative formats accessible—both digital and analog. We especially want to give young people the opportunity to develop their own ideas, actively shape artistic processes, and experiment in a supportive environment.
Would you like to collaborate with us with your school class, youth club, or any other group? Whether workshop, project week, or joint production—we welcome inquiries and are happy to develop a suitable format tailored to your target group.
