LENJA BUSCH, who grew up in Germany and the United States, studied Scenic Arts (BA) in Hildesheim as well as Dramaturgy in Frankfurt (MA) and Politics, Media and Performance (MA) in Aberystwyth. She has been working in the independent scene for over ten years, combining dramaturgy with interdisciplinary approaches and knowledge transfer. At venues such as Kampnagel, she curates with a focus on performance and contemporary dance. At HELLA LUX, she supported three cohorts of international projects and brought together people from more than 15 countries through her work. As a dramaturg and performer, she works both on and behind the stage; as a writer, she creates plays, audio walks, and media guides, most recently for the special exhibition of the Historical Museum Frankfurt am Main and the Frankfurt History App.

Liljan Halfen, born in 1989, lives and works as a freelance director in Frankfurt am Main. She is a co-founder of HELLA LUX.

Liljan is part of the artistic management team of Theater Gruene Soße and has been curating the program of the Junge Theaterwerkstatt Frankfurt since 2024. She is also a board member of Paradiesvogel – Frankfurter Modell der eigenständigen Theater für junges Publikum e.V., and regularly develops residency and training formats, including the next generation workspace (Starke Stücke Festival, Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm).

MILENA WICHERT is a freelance director based in Hamburg and Frankfurt am Main. She studied directing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt and was a recipient of a scholarship from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes). For over ten years, she has been working at the intersection of performance, film, audio, and installation art – often in collaboration with local and international partners.

Her works have received numerous awards and have been featured on national and international shortlists. In addition to her many multimedia productions with HELLA LUX, she is the founder of Mind & Pepper and also works as a mediator and certified systemic coach.
